What is being recalled and why?  


Unilever in the U.S. is issuing a voluntary recall of select Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop products (single serve offerings) because the products may contain milk, which is not an ingredient on the label. The only impacted products are Popsicle Jolly Rancher Frozen Confection Pop single-serve products that are marked for individual sale. These products are typically sold through channels such as ice cream trucks, concession stands, and grab-and-go freezers.  

How do I know if my product is affected? 

 

Please click “Get Started” on the homepage to check if your product is affected and to submit a reimbursement request. Please note that you will be required to provide one photo that includes every impacted product that you have. The photo should be of the back of the package and should clearly show the UPC barcode and Lot Code for each product. 

 

What should I do if I have product that is affected? 

 

If you have a Popsicle product that is part of this recall, please do not consume the product. Go to “Get Started” on the bottom of the home page to submit a reimbursement request. Please note that you will be required to provide one photo that includes every impacted product that you have. The photo should be of the back of the package and should clearly show the UPC barcode and Lot Code for each product. 

Once you have submitted the photo, please dispose of the product with household trash. If you have any questions, we are here to help at 1 (888) 926-3554, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 9 pm EST. 

Can I use the product if I don’t have a milk allergy? 


If you do not have an allergy or sensitivity to milk, this product should not pose a risk; however, in an abundance of caution it is best that the product is disposed of, so that others with a milk sensitivity are not impacted. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.  

How do I get a reimbursement? 


Please click “Get Started” on the homepage to submit a reimbursement request. Please note that you will be required to provide one photo that includes every impacted product that you have. The photo should be of the back of the package and should clearly show the UPC barcode and Lot Code for each product.  Shortly after you submit you will receive a confirmation email from info@astutebot.com

 

How long will it take to get my reimbursement? 


You can expect to receive your reimbursement within approximately 8-10 weeks. 

How can you be sure this won’t happen again?  


Based on our investigation, we are confident that the issue was limited to these select UPCs and Lot Codes (best-by dates). We are implementing corrective actions with the supplier to ensure this is not repeated.  

 

I already ate this but I’m not allergic to milk, am I okay?

To receive reimbursement, you will need proof of purchase in the form of a photo of your packaging or product. 

 

 I ate this product months ago and had a reaction, what should I do?

Are any other Unilever or Popsicle products affected by this recall?  


No other Unilever or Popsicle products are affected.  

 

What should consumers do with the product?  


Do not consume the product. We will be providing reimbursement with proof of purchase, so please take a picture of the package with the UPC and Lot Code.  
 

Was any product shipped outside of the US?  


To our knowledge, the product that is subject to this recall was shipped to locations in the US only.
